Introduction to Earn and Redeem Miles

Welcome to FlySmiLes rewards - rewarding you every time you fly with SriLankan Airlines or our partners.

The FlySmiLes Programme uses different types of Miles for different reasons.

FlySmiLes Miles are your reward currency and are earned every time you fly with SriLankan and our partners. Miles will expire after three years in June and December.

Tier miles facilitate you to progress through the membership tiers to Silver and Gold. They are earned, whenever you fly with Sri Lankan, at a rate of 1 tier mile per mile flown in Economy Class, 50% more tier miles per mile flown in Business Class. The tier status is determined based on a rolling tier method (ie the Miles earned in the previous 12 months is considered to determine your tier status).
